How it works
Four steps, on one client account — then what the first thirty days involve before any of it is live.
Are we making money on the Northwind account?
Thinner than it looks. Half a phase of work was never quoted.
- Phase 2 is 34 of 41 tasks done, with six days left. Delivery is on track. Northwind
- You have invoiced $18,400. Invoice 1042 is 21 days overdue. Invoice 1042
- The kickoff call put two landing pages in the quote, not four. Kickoff, 14 Jul

Five tools, one question. No dashboard can answer this one, because the work is in Jira, the money is in QuickBooks, and the promise was made on a call.
Illustrative account. Figures are not from a live workspace.
The first thirty days
This is a managed service, so most of the work is ours. What we need from you is listed against each week, because “we will handle it” is not much use when you are trying to plan around it.
Week one
We work out what you actually need to know
A conversation, not a form. Which questions come up every week, which of them take someone an afternoon, and which are worth automating. Most businesses have five or six that matter and a long tail that does not.
What we need from youNinety minutes of someone senior enough to know what the questions are.
Week two
We connect the tools those answers live in
Usually two or three to start. We use credentials you supply, scoped to what they already reach, so nobody gains access to anything they did not have.
What we need from youSomeone who can authorise a connection to each tool, and a decision about which Slack channels are in scope.
Week three
Your workspace answers its first real question
You ask in plain language and get an answer with a link to every record behind every figure. We sit with you while you try to break it, because the questions you actually ask are never quite the ones you described.
What we need from youAn hour, and a willingness to tell us when an answer is wrong.
Week four
We set up what it should draft for you
The recurring report nobody has to request, and the actions worth preparing. You decide what CoDesk drafts and who approves each one.
What we need from youA decision about who signs off what.
Ongoing
We watch what gets asked and tune it
The questions change as the business does. We look at what people actually ask, what came back thin, and what should have been a recurring report rather than a repeated question.
What we need from youNothing, unless you want to be involved.
Then what?
See which tools it reads, read what it can and cannot touch, or what it costs. If you would rather just ask, talk to us.
